As 2021 wound down, one lone province held a final Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw in the last days of 2021.

The draw was held by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on December 30, 2021 and resulted in a total of 393 eligible immigration candidates receiving an invitation or Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) as they are known in the province.

Candidates were selected from one of the following three streams.

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • Skilled Workers Overseas
  • International Education Stream

Candidates who received an invitation can now submit their applications for a provincial nomination, those who are successful will be awarded an additional 600 points on their existing Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores. Given the boost in score, the chances are high these candidates will receive an invitation from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) when they hold rounds of invitations for PNP candidates in the coming months.
